Benchmark – Ramnode – SSD Cached VPS

Ramnode continue their server upgrading, and do now offers a SSD Cached VPS line. Here is what Ramnode is writing about their SSD cached servers: “These VPSs run on RAID10 arrays of HDDs behind a RAID10 array of SSDs that act as a cache for “hot” data. That means data frequently called for by the server stays on the SSD space. These VPSs provide similar performance to our all-SSD VPSs but with more than twice the space available! ” When I tested the VPS I got a disk speed of 583 MB/s, that a very good speed, but their pure SSD nodes is faster with 966 MB/s. But you get lots more disk space with their SSD cached plans.
