Benchmark – Ramnode.com – KVM SSD-Cached VPS

Ramnode.com continue expanding their VPS line, and have now added KVM VPS with SSD Cached HDD. You get more space then on their pure SSD nodes, but of course, you get lower disk speeds. Still, you get VERY good disk speeds with SSD cached plans also.

Here is my benchmark test of their 1 GB KVM SSD cached plan.

*1024MB CKVM* –$30 / mo
Plan info:
KVM – 1024 MB RAM, 50 GB , 2000 GB BW, Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1230 V2
Disk info: RAID10 SSD-Cached HDD Space

960 MB/s was the highest result I got, but tested several times, around 800 MB/s was the average.
